Purpose: To identify, honor and reinforce the activities of exceptional caring citizens whose service or performance positively contributes to the quality of life in River Falls.

Criteria:

Nominee must possess and demonstrate a generous community spirit

Nominee has proven his or her commitment and has a reoccurring pattern of effort directed toward the community

Nominee is a role model in the community and thereby raises the standards of social responsibility.

Recognition:

Citizen of the Year will be honored at the Annual Awards & Recognition Banquet; will be highlighted every month in the Chamber Newsletter; share a segment with other winners on River Falls Cable Access; have an opportunity to serve as the Grand Marshall in the River Falls Days Parade 2004; and be highlighted on the River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau website.
