Middle School (6-8)

Middle
school students are at the crossroads of their development. They are social by nature and are trying to form their identities and
establish a sense of belonging and affiliation with their peers.Meyer
Middle School students are active learners and together in a “house” or a
“block” of classrooms to facilitate common planning of curriculum. Teachers can share information about effective ways of working with
individual students and monitor the overall success of each student. The goal is to make sure that each student in the ‘house’ is known as
an individual and fins a “home base” where the need to belong to a group and
be accepted is assured.
