Visitor-Related Business Meetings Set
The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau has been working on a tourism-related initiative for over a year and we invite you to participate in putting together packages to attract visitors and hopefully get them to extend their stay in River Falls. These packages will help highlight all of the great reasons to come to River Falls and also what to do while here.
Some example packages might include a fly-fishing (or golf, or bike, etc.) package which would include an overnight lodging stay, dinner at an area restaurant, maybe a spa treatment, and discounts to local merchants. It would also include information on specifics of the package (where to fish, bike, etc.).
Our new website has a member forum to facilitate our member businesses working together to create these packages. We're holding training sessions on Tuesday May 18 from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 19 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. to review the software and brainstorm with other visitor-related businesses about potential packages.
The meetings will be held on the University of Wisconsin River Falls campus in the Chalmer Davee Library in room DL101. Parking will be available in Lot Q (bring a couple of quarters for the parking meters). Click here for a campus map to get acclimated.
