Ambassador Visits

The Chamber Ambassadors visit more than 30 businesses each year through monthly member visits, ribbon cuttings, and grand openings.  These member visits are highlighted in the local papers & the Chamber Newsletter, providing great exposure to each organization.

Brochure Racks

Chamber members are welcome to display brochures, pamphlets, or business cards in the Chamber office. Many business people, visitors, and community members stop by and pick up information.

Business Referrals

When the chamber receives inquiries about a business, providing a specific product, it refers exclusively to River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau members.  The Chamber office gave out over 1,050 Chamber member referrals in 2006.

Business Breakfasts & Chamber Coffee

A great way to meet other business members from the community!  The quarterly breakfasts are low cost and the speakers provide useful information on a variety of topics.  Take just over an hour out of your morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. to make long lasting business connections.

Chamber Coffee is held at the Chamber office and is a time for casual networking over coffee.  This event is free for Chamber members.   

Chamber Checks

A Chamber Check is just like a gift certificate and is redeemable at Chamber Member Businesses only. Chamber Checks are available in any denomination. They are available at the Chamber office which is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Checks are packaged along with a list of participating businesses.  Keep local dollars local!

Chamber Website

The River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau website receives thousands of hits each year from around the country.  The first stop for people looking to relocate to the area, planning a vacation or for general information is usually the Chamber of Commerce. We are linked to the UW River Falls, City of River Falls, Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Croix Valley Regional Tourism Alliance web pages.

As a member of the Chamber of Commerce you will have opportunities to attend workshops, luncheons, showcases and receive publications at a lower price.

Educational Seminars

Throughout the year the chamber provides many opportunities for business owners and their employees to learn from experts about various topics that can enhance business productivity though educational seminars.  Topics range from survey interpretation to parliamentary procedure to marketing.  Members are encouraged to provide ideas for future seminars.

Membership Directory

The membership directory is distributed to over 2500 people in the course of the year!  As a Chamber member you are listed in the directory by business name and service/product at no cost to you, which is place in every hotel and dorm room in River Falls.  However, advertising in the directory brings more attention to your business!  Examples of individuals who have requested the directory include new developers and contractors that have projects in River Falls, new residents to the area, visitors that will be staying in River Falls and people that just want to know where the quality places are to shop or do business. 

 Membership Labels

Are you thinking of doing a direct mailing?  Do you need access to an up-to-date mailing list with contact names included?  The membership labels are available only to members at a rate of  $50.00 and includes over 380 contacts in the River Falls area.  It’s an easy and affordable way to send out your mailings. New Move List

River Falls is a popular relocation destination.  The Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau receives calls from people interested in moving to the area.  We track that information and provide complete details to those members who subscribe to this service. Subscribers to this service also have their business brochures placed inside our relocation packets. Get your message to a potential customer first!

Newsletter

Keeps members informed about the chamber events, activities and other members. There is also advertising opportunities through the newsletter, like inserts and business billboards.
